io in whose workshop he met Michelangelo with whom he remained in contact for a long time. He was consultant to Michelangelo on the pictorial techniques in the Sistine Chapel, and some see his involvement in the first scenes on the ceiling of the chapel.
Granacci painted a great number of \i Madonna\i0 portraits in the last years of his artistic life, some of which are housed in the Accademia of Florence. Holder of high official titles in the Florentine Guild of Painters, he never abandoned his serene
